In Portland, my friend Skye (due in 2 weeks!) and her front yard garden.

It was sorta culture-shocky to see little gardens. I don't really have much of a green thumb but I did notice the little gardens in people's yards throughout Portland and Seattle. I'm pretty disconnected to the food I eat and where it comes from. In Guatemala I can identify corn (duh) but only recently beans and other stuff.
