Sabado gloria.
This afternoon we caught a holy week parade in Antigua. Since it's Saturday, day after Jesus died and day before he rises, everything is in black, as opposed to earlier in holy week when everything is purple.
Lots of incense and people.
Float. Enormous and, although you can't tell, being supported by about 40 women on their shoulders.
Lovely "alfombra" that was eventually walked thru by the entire procession then swept up into a garbage truck.
The floats before this one were ones of Jesus dying, being put into a coffin of sorts. Then finally "Santa Muerte" shows up. It was pretty ominous and didn't fit with the more "romantic" floats.

While out today we bought baby clothes! These are the official second & third pieces of babywear we have accumulated. We got both for under $1 in the "paca," er 2nd hand clothing market. Aawwwww... they are tiny!!
And finally, because she's so darn lazy and cute. Here's Norma from the other day. This dog knows exactly what a pillow is and where to put her head.
